ABSTRACT
A field survey to study the quantitative data of weed species from ‘tebu telur’ plantation in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, was done on August up to November 2007. Sampling method used was Quadrat Method. The result showed that the broed-leaves weed group were the dominant one over the area of ‘tebu telur’. Their SDR were : Chromolaena odorata (17,97), Ageratum conyzoides (10,64), Chorchorus olitorius (9,47), Imperata cylindrica (9,15), and Abutilon hemsleyanum (6,53). Thunbergia fragrans (6,20), Melothria guadalupensis (5,32), Cyperus brevifolius (4,73), Bracharia mutica (3,56), ‘unidentified Pteridophyta (3,56), Emilia sonchifolia (3,26), unidentified Cyperaceae, Pennisetum clandestinum and Solanum involucratum was 2,97, respectively, and choncrus brownii, Crassocephalum crepidioides, Malachra fasciata, and Physalis minima was 2,68 respectively.
